We will keep this brief so as not to give away too much of the tour.
We aren’t really ‘tour’ kinda people however recently some travelling friends (nomadnoodles) recommended this walking vegan tour and their rave review had us sold. The tour is run by Hieu, a dynamic, young Vietnamese man who is very knowledgeable about the areas as well as the food the tour covers. He is a great leader and made the tour informative but also highly entertaining. Despite having seven years between us in Saigon, we still learnt, saw and tasted new things.
The tour runs for 4 hours and you don’t get the feeling that you are being rushed from one spot to another as you leisurely stroll through the marketplace and navigate the winding hems of Saigon’s Districts 3 and 10.
We really enjoyed the food and the Cambodian, as a non vegetarian, was very satisfied. We will most definitely be returning to most of the places we visited.
If you are looking for something interesting to do on a weekend (as an expat or local) or you are travelling through Saigon, this tour is definitely worth it. Find them here on Airbnb experiences.
